BenQ, internationally renowned provider of digital lifestyle products and global DLP projectors has announced the introduction of the BenQ W2000, its newly-launched Living Room Projector, which is set to bring the home theatre experience to a whole new level, thanks to it achieving the Rec. 709 standard for high definition colour reproduction.

Users can now experience lifelike cinematic colours and enjoy big screen entertainment with BenQ Living Room Projectors thanks to the Rec.709 colour reproduction standard. For those who may not know what Rec. 709 is, it’s an international HDTV standard introduced in 1990s to guarantee accurate reproduction of cinematic colour as the film director had intended. Only displays that conform to Rec. 709 can reproduce original quality and authentic colour of HD content. With the release of the W2000 Living Room Projector, that level of quality is now possible in home projection with the W2000’s precision-calibrated 6-times speed RGBRGB colour wheel, and finely tuned coating and colour segments to replicate stunningly true colours for that superb viewing experience.
The BenQ W2000 is now available in Malaysia, for RM5,999 (inclusive of GST).
